Why Wonder Woman?

Someone recently asked me, “Why do you spend so much time and energy featuring other real life Wonder Women on your website and social media when you could be promoting your own business?”

I was a little surprised by the question.

Honestly, wouldn’t you rather read stories about cool people doing great things than view ads for my speaking services and books? Now don’t get me wrong, I know I still need to promote and sell my products and services. And I do. It is my business after all! But I do truly feel I can make a greater impact by encouraging and inspiring others through my work and my website.

When I see great leadership and generosity, I want to share it. When I see grit and passion, I have to acknowledge it. I love seeing how other REAL people (men and women) lead, what drives them, what (or who) motivates them. I want to know how they manage their businesses and lead their teams. I want to know how they build other people up and how they overcome challenges.

I study them. I revel in them. I appreciate them. And yes, I want to celebrate them!

My mission as a speaker and author is to empower people to identify and activate their inner superpowers so they can live their fullest, most productive lives.

This involves studying and teaching my audiences about:

  • personal accountability
  • effective communication
  • nurturing relationships
  • overcoming fears
  • validating one another
  • strong leadership
  • taking action!

Why not share stories of real people who are doing these things? I want to know them and celebrate their successes. And I want to share them with you.

This is why I feature real life Wonder Women every week. Nothing against you men reading this. While I speak to all genders on these topics, my book is geared toward women. Hence: real life Wonder Women. If you are a guy and really want to be featured, please let me know. Perhaps we can add some slots for real-life Super Men! Or better yet, let’s talk about how we can all link arms to bring out the best in each other, regardless of gender!

I have the privilege of partnering with other strong leaders (women and men) and their teams to help them grow interpersonal skills so they can effectively achieve their goals. I love what I do. I am a speaker and author who appreciates your support. And I will continue to share the stories of amazing real-life heroes with you!
