#RealLifeWonderWoman — Meet Sidne Bofferding

Like Wonder Woman, today’s #reallifewonderwoman is a beautiful blend of grit and grace. Sidne Bofferding is thoughtful and honest. Talented and kind. She’s a hard worker and a great listener. She’s the kind of person who doesn’t just listen…she hears. And she cares.

By day, Sidne works as a Marketing Consultant at Gaslight Creative. And for her “other full time job,” she and her husband are renovating a house. Sidne may be small, but she’s mighty and knows how to work the business end of a sledge hammer. Look out Chip and Jo! Sidne and Sam can knock down walls and lay hardwood flooring just like the pros.

Please read on and get to know real-life Wonder Woman…Sidne Bofferding!

KR: Hi Sidne! Would you please tell us about what brings you joy and fulfillment?

SB: My top love language is quality time so whenever I get to spend quality time with my husband or friends I feel so much happiness. The connections that I have with other people are what bring me joy. I determine success in my career by working with people who trust me with personal stories AND trust that Gaslight will always do whatever we can to help them reach the goals for their organization.

KR: We all have inner superpowers. What are some of yours?

SB: I have always been told that listening is the most important thing we can do to connect with others, so I have tried to make that my most important characteristic. Also, I am an Enneagram 8, so I very much value honesty, giving it and receiving it. I think with honesty, we can be more efficient and continue to grow into the best versions of ourselves.

KR: Can you tell us about an influential woman in your life and how she inspired you?

SB: After graduating college, I met an amazing Wonder Woman named Mandy Sweeter. She believed in me and encouraged me to grow into the person that she could already see even if I couldn’t (I still have a lot of growing yet to do, though). She’s someone I know I can always trust with any question and I appreciate her honesty and mentorship so much.

KR: If you could have one super-human power, what would it be?

SB: I think it would be to show everyone that they are truly loved. My faith is very important to me and I pray that Jesus continues to work in me and make me like him everyday. I fail often, but I’ll still keep trying for as long as I can.

KR: What do you do for fun? What are your hobbies?

SB: I LOVE to travel and experience nature with my hubby. If I could go hiking in the Montana mountains every week, I would! However, I also love to grab a light-hearted fiction book and sit on a warm, sunny beach. Also, if coffee was a hobby, I think I would count that too.

KR: Knowing what you know at this stage of your life, what words of wisdom would you give to your 20-year-old self?

SB: I think that I would tell her to be aware of comparing herself to others. That she is going to be surrounded by a lot of amazing women and men that seem to understand how to do this thing called “life” so much better than her and do things differently than she will, but it is okay as long as she is still growing and learning. We don’t all have to do life the same way to be successful.

  1. My beautiful niece is all she describes and so much more. To meet her is to feel like you’ve known her for a lifetime. To know her is to be assured her greatness is more special than one could describe. Sidne’s warmth and love will leave you realizing this world is a better place with her in it. ❤
