You won’t meet a more uplifting person, or one more eager to help other people find their passion and achieve success.

Meet Mandi Moon!

KR: What brings you joy and fulfillment?

MM: I am lucky enough to have so many things in my life that bring joy. My kids love to create with me. We love to bake, paint and tell stories together. I have a curious mind, so I love to learn, to meet people and to hear their stories. But I think my greatest joy comes from bringing people together. Throwing parties, getting friends together, getting businesses together, getting the community together. Anything that brings people together to create connection fuels my passion.

KR: I am a firm believer that we all have inner superpowers. What are some of yours?

MM: I like to think that my inner super power is The Power to Connect People. I love to bring people together, to connect friends with new friends, to connect businesses with new clients and to connect people within our community.

KR: I understand you are currently using your super power to connect people right here in Central Minnesota. What can you tell us about your new venture, The Good People of Central Minnesota

MM: The Good People of Central Minnesota, is a group that I have been dreaming about for a while. There are so many incredible men and women in business in this area. Agents, entrepreneurs, business owners that have a heart for this community as well as a heart to leading people by serving others. I wholeheartedly believe that connection and servant leadership are the most important aspects to growing a business with impact.

The Good People of Central MN is an outlet for individuals to connect and grow business together. It isn’t a traditional networking group in which we pass referrals (though referrals are a natural byproduct), but instead we gather together to brainstorm, breathe life into ideas and create true connection and collaboration. We currently meet on the first Monday of every month and have our first Happy Hour scheduled on April 18th. So much good has already come from these meetings, I cannot wait to see what the future holds.

KR: What are some of your hobbies?

MM: Whenever someone asks me what my hobbies are I always laugh because I definitely consider myself a “hobby hopper.” I love to learn and I love being creative. I’ve tried sewing, cooking, cake decorating, painting, crafting of any kind really. I also love snowboarding, reading, eating nachos, going to brunch and wines nights with good friends.

KR: Can you tell us about an influential woman in your life and how she inspired you?

MM: I find myself inspired daily by so many women and their stories. Stories of bravery, courage, grit, we have some remarkable women within our community. But recently the person that inspires me the most is my sister. She is a military wife, an amazing mom and an incredible friend. I watch her balance each aspect of her life with authenticity. She understands that time with family is limited and precious, so she does an excellent job at living in the moment and being present. A trait that I truly admire.

KR: If you could have one super-human power, what would it be?

MM: If I could have one super power, it would have to be the power of Teleportation. Cold and snowy in Minnesota? Teleport to Cabo, no problem!

KR: Knowing what you know at this stage of your life, what words of wisdom would you give to your 20-year-old self?

MM: If I could talk to my 20-year-old self, I would tell myself to RELAX. I’ve always been ambitious, but in my 20s my drive and need to succeed came from fear of losing or fear of missing out on opportunities. Looking back I had a mindset of scarcity and that caused me to constantly worry, stress and stretch myself too thin! As I’ve gotten older, the ambition is still burning, but it comes from a place of passion instead of fear. Just relax, follow the things that bring you energy, not drain you of it!

KR: Mandi has a lot going on! She’s the super branding genius that powers Mandi Moon Consulting. She’s a super mom and wife. She’s the superglue behind The Good People of Central Minnesota. She empowers women with her cosmetic and skin care business These Lips Don’t Lie. And in case that wasn’t enough, she will be speaking at the Unveiled Beauty: Cultivating YOU! event in St. Cloud on May 16. Click HERE for more information.
