#RealLifeWonderWoman — Meet Allison Crandall

I recently spoke at an event where I had the pleasure of meeting a most engaging and delightful woman named Allison. This at-home mom of two young children and I connected over our shared passion for helping women feel confident, powerful and beautiful–inside and out.

In addition to raising her young family, she is a Stella & Dot stylist and was named Mrs. Minnesota America 2018. Yes, she is Minnesota royalty, with a big sparkly crown and everything!

But in spite of the bling and the titles and opportunities pageantry has provided her, this #RealLifeWonderWoman remains humble and grateful. She is quick to extend gratitude, steadfast in her faith, and eager help other women pursue their goals.

I’m excited to introduce you to today’s #RealLifeWonderWoman…Allison Crandall.

KR: What brings you joy and fulfillment?

AC: My family is the number one thing that brings me joy and fulfillment. Being a wife and mother is the most important title I will ever carry and I feel privileged to have the husband and kids I do. I also find immense joy and fulfillment in my career of helping women feel and look beautiful through personal style and fashion.

KR: We all have inner superpowers. What are some of yours?

AC: I believe one of my gifts from God is the ability to show and give love to everyone! I love on people well and I love hard. So I guess you could say my superpower is love. 😊. I am also an extremely empathetic person which allows me to connect with almost anyone.

KR: Can you tell us about an influential woman in your life and how she inspired you?

AC: My late mother-in-law, Emily Crandall. She was influential in my life on so many levels but the one that sticks out the most would be her love for the Lord and her unwavering faith. She helped me grow deeper in my faith and inspired me to be less concerned about what the world thought of me and more concerned about what God thought of me.

KR: If you could have one super-human power, what would it be?

AC: The ability to duplicate myself so that I can be in two different places at the same time.

KR: What do you do for fun? What are your hobbies?

AC: I LOVE taking fitness classes with girlfriends at my local gym, going to the pool with my hubby and kiddos, and styling women with fun and fresh apparel and accessory options! I also LOVE taking vacations and seeing new places as well as date nights with my husband…date nights are SO fun!

KR: Knowing what you know at this stage of your life, what words of wisdom would you give to your 20 year-old self?

AC: Be less concerned about the approval of others and run your own race.
